PD 38 Laser Meter
The latest in Hilti's
family of laser range meters, the PD 38 Laser Range Meter provides quick
and accurate measurements along with the ability to superimpose those
measurements on a picture, store them in Pocket Excel®, or draw scaled
line drawings with ease. Simple, one-person operation enables the same
person to measure, draw and perform geometric calculations, saving time
and improving jobsite productivity.
The PD 38 is accurate up to 1/16-inch on a single
measurement and is equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology, which enables
it to function with compatible PDAs to take and store measurements from up to
32 feet from the tool.
The only tool available that offers image sketching,
the PD 38 allows users to show measurements and dimensions directly on a picture
then save it in a standard picture format in just a few simple steps. With an
image sketch, there is no risk of false interpretation since measured values
and jobsite details are clearly assigned on the image.
With the PD 38, the user can also generate a simple
line drawing with measurements clearly drawn to scale so users can immediately
identify false or missing data. The drawing can easily be imported and processed
in common CAD programs, saving time in the office re-entering data. With easy-to-use,
step-by-step guidance, users can also calculate areas, volumes or take complex
geometric measurements on the spot.
