Saw guide:
Primarily designed for bridge saws and CNC equipment, but it can also be used for band saws and permanently mounted table or panel saws. The unit is supplied with 110-volt power supply and 3/8" mounting hole. An optional ball socket mount enables you to install the laser at any angle. The GS-28 is vibration and moisture resistant. It will project a fine red line at a 100° fan up to 18'. This will enable you to position the work piece, slabs or wood and know exactly where the blade is going to cut.

GS-28 Applications
Saw guide: Primarily designed for bridge saws and CNC equipment, but it can also be used for band saws and permanently mounted table or panel saws.
Simple alignment:
- Position the unit where the beam projects evenly across your saw path. This can be easily done with the use of our laser mount ball socket.
- Run the blade across the material without cutting completely through.
- Align the laser to match that cut, keeping it as perpendicular to the saw as possible and then tighten the laser down. In most installations, the laser line will actually project on the edge of the saw blade as well as the material to be cut.
Calibration and use:
The GS-28 Saw Laser is already calibrated to
project a straight laser line. There is no user calibration to be done with
the exception of mounting the unit to your saws or for any other specific
purposes. For wet saw applications, the unit has an easy wipe off window to
remove any water mist, tile/stone particles that may collect on the lens. The
same holds true for saw dust.
